Walking in Wales in autumn is a bit of a hit and miss affair. Today however the weather was glorious. Cool but not too cold with the sun breaking through the clouds. We chose to follow the trail around the base of the castle avoiding the steep pull up to the top this time. The path passed through woodland of oak and ash with the ground buried in dry fallen leaves.

All truly great thoughts are conceived while walking said Friedrich Nietzsche.

I haven’t reached those heights yet but walking and thinking and talking are great companions.
